Welcome to our allotments.
Stewart Avenue allotments are situated almost in the centre of Upminster, just to the south of the park and are part of the Hornchurch & District Allotments & Gardening Society.
The allotment is run by a local committee of 12 plotholders whose aim is to run a friendly and sociable site by providing adequate services for plotholders in terms of both information and on-site services and also to promote the benefits of allotment gardening to the local residents and schools.
A 5 year site improvement plan is in place and grant funding is being sought.

Please note that the Council tip in Gerpins Lane is going to implement its ID arrangements more strenuously. As from 9 May everyone visiting the tip will need to show 2 forms of ID before being allowed to leave their refuse.The details require ID in the form of utility bills or similar showing your postal address and your driving licence.
